It has entered in to power generation through green routes by setting up wind farms in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu, with a total installed capacity of 16.625 MW. Recently, it has started Solar power generation also at Kovvur in West Godavari District. Besides, the company is generating power through co-generation at its Sugar unit-II, Taduvai. The company has also setup 36 MW thermal power plant at Saggonda in West Godavari District.
